Facilities Tab
The Facilities tab manages the three-level facility hierarchy that defines where caregivers will be deployed.

|
+-- Unit (Department / Floor)

+-- Specialty (Nursing Specialty / Role Type)
| Level | Example | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Facility | Memorial General Hospital | The physical hospital or care site. |
| Unit | ICU, Med-Surg 3rd Floor, Emergency Department | A department, floor, or functional area within a facility. |
| Specialty | RN - Critical Care, LPN, CNA | The nursing specialty or role type required within a unit. |
Managing Facilities
Adding a Facility
- Click Add Facility on the Facilities tab.
- Enter the facility name and optional address/contact information.
- Click Save.
Adding a Unit to a Facility
- Expand the facility row by clicking the arrow icon.
- Click Add Unit.
- Enter the unit name.
- Click Save.
Adding a Specialty to a Unit
- Expand the facility, then expand the target unit.
- Click Add Specialty.
- Select the specialty from the dropdown or type to search.
- Click Save.
You do not need to manually create the entire facility hierarchy. When you import caregivers via CSV, the system auto-discovers facilities, units, and specialties from the import data and creates them automatically.
Editing and Deleting
- Click the Edit icon next to any facility, unit, or specialty to rename it.
- Click the Delete icon to remove it. Deleting a facility also removes all its units and specialties. Deleting a unit removes all its specialties.
Deleting a facility, unit, or specialty that has candidates or shift requirements associated with it will also remove those associations. This action cannot be undone.
